Grammy-nominated rapper Ne-Yo has is being sued for $600,000 by a Washington state promotion company for rennouncing to appear at a New Year's Eve video he was booked for, according to the Maryland Daily Record reporters .
The rapper was reportedly scheduled to make an short appearance at Bellevue's Meydenbauer Center, outside of Seattle, and was paid a fee up-front of $100,000. According to the lawsuit, however, Ne-Yo never showed up, but the money were transfered to his account.

According to the lawsuit, Kenyohn Clark of Wet Entertainment and Esterman reached an contract to book the rapper for a fee of $140,000. An lawyer for Clark states in the suit that Wet Entertainment also negotiated travel and lodging arraignments for Ne-Yo, in addition to choosing and protecting a space for an afterparty.
